Thanks for the tip! I looked at some docs about the pre-bleaching step (like photochem.ru/manual/Manual…) where they said that it should not be used for new/non-expired film. I figure that’s why my lab doesn’t bother with it.
I don’t develop E-6 at home but I am considering getting a kit at some point. The lab is expensive, which doesn’t help considering the cost of slide film. Perhaps, I’ll expose a dozen rolls and develop them all at once (E-6 chems expire pretty quickly). If I do this, I’ll definitely look into pre-bleaching more.
