With our POAM scanner at Film Rescue, which uses a Phase One Achromatic 150 mp sensor, by doing 4 scans and a stitch, if my math is correct, we could eek out a true optical resolution scan of about 400 Megapixels on a 35mm frame. The input resolution would be about 35,000 ppi. Get in touch if you’d like to try that.
