“Photograph what interests you. ”A quote that I kept with me since reading it in an article a year or so back. It’s an esoteric quest that will always be hard to satisfy. Sure, one can enjoy different genres of photography. Be it landscape, documentary, street or portraiture; there’s a cornucopia to choose from.

Chinatown and I

Europe — The UK

Photographers, both well-known and amateurs, flock to the small block of three streets, situated just off Leicester Square, spending all hours of the day, snapping. Chinatown tends to be an object of extreme attraction for the people with cameras. To the point of exemplifying a fetish.

Monochrome — Tri-X, HP5, Delta 400

Ilford HP5, pushed to 1600. . . Seeing their results in a full, contrasty, grainy glory made me fall out of love with colour- and into a winter affair with black-and-white film. Upon graduating from university, I found myself working a temp job in retail over the winter.
